直角式注射机特点：注射装置与合模装置的轴线相互垂直排列，合模装置由电机驱动开合模丝杠传动，注射装置采用齿轮齿条机械传动或液压传动，占地介于立式和卧式之间。

优点：结构简单，适于成型中心不允许有浇口痕迹的平面塑件，同时常利用开模时丝杠的转动来拖动螺纹型芯或型环旋转，以便脱下塑件。
Advantages: simple structure, suitable for the plane plastic parts with no gate mark in the molding center, and the rotation of the lead screw when the mold is opened is often used to drag the screw core or the ring to rotate, so as to take off the plastic parts.
缺点：机械传动无准确可靠的注射压力、保压压力及锁模力，模具受冲击振动较大。
