精密注塑机必须高压的理由是:

1) 提高精密制品的精度和质量,注射压力对制品成型收缩率有最明显的影响。当注射压力达到392MPa时,制品成型收缩率几乎为零。而这时制品的精度只受模具控制或环境的影响。实验证明:注射压力从98MPa提高到392MPa后,机械强度提高3%~33%。

2) 可减小精密制品的壁厚、提高成型长度。以PC为例,普通机注射压力177MPa,可成型0.2~0.8mm壁厚的制品,而精密机注射压力在392MPa时可成型厚度在0.15~0.6mm 之间的制品。超高压注射机可获得流长比更大的制品。
